We look for mature, enduring people who know how to listen and adapt to new situations. We search out players whose motivations are playing the game with good, fun people. Loot oriented people need not apply.

If you don’t believe in consumables or have trouble following directions you can stop reading right now. Otherwise, feel free to read over our requirements:

• You must be on good terms with everyone in the guild. This doesn't mean that everyone loves you, but it does mean that you need to work out any past issues with current guild members. Additionally you must have a good reputation with the server at large - If you're banned to half a dozen other guilds, or ran off with the contents of your last guild’s entire bank, we don’t want you.


• You must have a thick skin. You should be able to take a joke, and not take yourself too seriously. We have a no-drama policy; we're looking for calm, fun, easy-going people.


• You must be patient. Applicants spend about 2-3 weeks as initiates. We find recruitment weeds out those who aren't really interested in joining, and helps ensure loyalty and camaraderie. Our guild turnover is low, and we'd like to keep it that way.


• You must be max level to raid in the newest High-End content.


• Our standard raiding hours are between Monday to Thursday, 8:30pm EST to 12:00pm EST. (We have members from all over the Globe).


• You must have adequate gear. We don't expect you to have full BIS epics, but you should know what it takes to succeed in the content Dsylxeic is in. You should be equipped with many BiS pieces for the content you are currently clearing, and ideally no more than one level behind the present hardest raiding content (e.g. heroic raid). You must have appropriate PvE enchants and gems in all of your equipment.


• Skill Requirements: Applicants should have some experience with previous tier heroic encounters, be knowledgable about normal modes of the current tier of content, and at least some experience/attempts on heroic modes of current content. Fast reaction time, knowledge of your class, and the ability to learn new encounters quickly are requirements. The ability to review and analyze your own metric reports (WoL reports, Event Horizon) is also highly recommended.


• Talent Requirements: You must have a PvE talent spec and be willing to respec if we ask you to do so, period.


• Play-style Requirements: If you habitually go /afk or don't pull your weight, do not apply. You must be a quick learner and be able to think on your feet.


• Your first aid must be at maximum and you are expected to come prepared to raids with bandages, Flasks, or Guardian + Battle elixirs, Food, and other alternate First Aid items such as Potions for the ENTIRE night. If this means going out of your way for the raid, then you will still need to do it anyways. This is a teamwork oriented game and we must all be at our peak to defeat the more difficult encounters.(Yes, even healers.)


• When we are meeting for a raid, you should be prepared to get there on your own. We also ask that you research the encounter before hand and have a decent understanding of the encounter. The raid leader will give you more than enough detail on the fight, but it still helps for you to know the abilities and the basis of the boss encounter. That way you may know what you will need for the upcoming fights. (IE: More shield block rating, frost resist, pvp trinket to escape fear.) Please put one of these sentences/phrases in the "Anything else to add" section of your application to prove that you pay attention and follow instructions: "Typecast's toaster" "Salty's fried chicken" or "Jam's etch-a-sketch". You should also be able to stay connected to WoW for the duration of the raid, and rarely have to leave the raid for "emergencies".


•  You must enjoy playing and working to improve your current character class. This means we expect you to play the character you dedicate as your main. If we recruit your Hunter, it means we want you playing and improving your Hunter, not twinking up an alt. If you have the need to switch your main raiding characters, and there is room in the raid to allow such a change, you will need to talk to an officer to make this transfer.(Common sense applied here, we know most everyone has 'alts' and loves to play them in down/free time)
